It delivers situational awareness, early warning, crisis simulation, post-disaster impact assessment, and knowledge dissemination tools for Civil Protection and Disaster Risk Management (DRM) authorities. Designed and implemented a pilot solid waste management program in Nafpaktos, Antirrio, Rio, and Aktio. Covered urban recycling, composting, biogas collection, and public awareness campaigns to enhance waste treatment efficiency.
Developed a management plan for the Bouka wetland near Potamos River in Kerkyra, including artificial wetland design, area rehabilitation, and protection measures for construction near the sewage treatment plant.
