3D Aerodromes

3D-Aerodromesis a program funded by the European Commission Eurostars Programme and the R&D funds contributed by the three Member States of Germany, Greece and Italy. It was initiated in 2010 and was completed in 2013. The project delivers for in-Cockpit use and the General Aviation Industry: (1) A s/w technology to reconstructing 3D-Aerodrome Geodatabases (airport, vicinity, major area, and tunnel) via readily available space-data & off-the-shelf information, (2) A Geodatabase for 50 European Airports, (3) A 2D/3D Air-Navigator using various GPS, GNSS, Galileo, and GLONAS services, as well as LIDAR or IFSAR remote sensing technologies, (4) A Geoportal Service as of 2016, and (5) A Company to commercialize the above, sales to be approved by Shareholders. During 3D-Aerodromes Project, Epsilon International, create 3D-Aerodromes Geodatabases (GDBs) for up to 40 GR Airports.
